Whole Roasted or Smoked Turkey (Fully Cooked)
Your turkey has been slow roasted until completely cooked, so all you need to do is reheat and brown the bird.
Your turkey will brown naturally as it is heated. It has been intentionally left “blonde,” giving you the option for seasoning and heating to your liking.
In the oven –
1. Preheat oven to 375°
2. Pour a layer of chicken broth or water into the bottom of the pan. Cover turkey with foil and roast for 10 mintues per lb (10-12-Roasted 1.25 hours/12-14-Smoked 2 hours). Uncover, baste the bird with pan juices or butter and roast for another 1/2 hour or until internal breast temperature reaches 165°F. (Using a leave in thermometer is best for reheating your turkey. As everyone’s oven run a bit different and this will take the guessing game out of it and prevent a cold middle or over cooked turkey.)
3. Remove bird from oven and let rest 20-30 minutes before serving.
