Burgundy Wine Beef Stew

Written by

There are a lot of different ways you can get creative with our marinated steak and chicken cuts, instead of just putting them on the grill. For this month’s Steak of the Month feature we will be using our Burgundy Wine Steak Tips & Mushrooms to create a french classic, Boeuf Bourguignon that is French for Burgundy Wine Beef Stew.

Our Burgundy Wine marinade has a very sophisticated flavor profile with a full bodied wine with savory herbs and spices. We thought it was a good time to get those slow cookers out aka crock-pots and let this one go all day while we are at work or play.  This recipe is for 3-5 servings, you can easily double the ingredients for more guest or more importantly left overs!

INGREDIENTS:

1 lbs Burgundy Wine Steak Tips

½ lbs Burgundy Wine Mushrooms

1 Medium onion chopped

2 Stalks of celery chopped

2 Garlic Cloves Minced

2 Carrots chopped

1 lb Potatoes cut into chunks

16 ounces beef broth

1/2 teaspoon Salt & 1 teaspoon of Pepper

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Set slow cooker on low for about 6-8 hours or if in a rush set to high for 3-4 hours.

Enjoy with a bakery fresh local French Baguette and do please share your thoughts and feedback on how it was.
